So I got the rear springs and Y-hangers on today. Spent a couple minutes reaming the bushings and it went together very well. I also replaced the bushings in the Y-hangers. The Dennis Carpenter supplied pieces used a 2 piece bushing design, driven in from each end with a gap in the middle. The Mid-Fifty bushings are a solid 1 piece design and I already had them so I used them. So here we sit, I've got to get my butt in gear and order some more parts and those parts are still in the back of my truck waiting to be dropped off at the sandblasters. I also need to figure out a way to get the frame a little higher in the air to make getting the rear axle put back on easier as well as the disc brake install. We might have a rolling chassis somewhat soon. I'll throw up some pics tomorrow. Yeah, they're kind of boring but all progress is good progress, right?
